The app has some good features but they are overweighed by the problems. The app is very clunky and I see no reason on earth as to why they lable each verse the way that they do. Each verse will tell you what book you are in even though you already kow that as you are already in that book. EX.. Romans 1 then Rom 1 1Paul, a…., then Rom 1 2which He… and so on. There is no reason to put Rom 1 or whatever book you are in in front of each verse number. All it does is take up more space and makes it slower to read. The app on the phone is really clunky and the Topics area seems OK on one Mac but not the other. I kind of wish I had not bought it though it does seems to have some good features like the Topics, if it worked right and the 30 Day challenge, Through the Bible in One Year and so on. It just needs some serious re-coding so it functions better and it would be a really good app.

Navigation is probably the worst I’ve seen.

I reviewed it and I would purchase. But red letter is actually a distraction. Jesus is God, but the Holy Trinity clearly spoke throughout the Old Testament and those words are not in red font. The Holy Spirit inspired the Apostles to write all of the Epistles, so are those words less holy and inspired than what our Lord Jesus said? Though most likely the idea of publishing Jesus' words in red font was a sincere one, unfortunately many erroneous beliefs have stemmed by making a theology that hangs exclusively from the words of Jesus only, apart from the rest of the Holy Scriptures. Change the font to all-black and I'll surely purchase. Or at least give me the option to turn off the red letter (other Bible do have this feature). This would respect those who believe that Jesus’ words should be in red font. Thank you.
