Description

AN INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER FROM PRESIDENT TRUMP'S NOMINEE FOR SECRETARY OF DEFENSE

Real men fought for our freedoms. It’s time we fought for theirs.

Pete Hegseth joined the Army to fight extremists. Then that same Army called him one. The military Pete joined twenty years ago was fiercely focused on lethality, competency, and color blindness. Today our brass, suffering from failed military leadership, are following the rest of our country off the cliff of cultural chaos and weakness.

Americans with common sense are fighting this on many fronts, but if we can’t save the meritocracy of our military, we’re definitely going to lose everywhere else.

This blistering work of political commentary, The War on Warriors, uncovers the deep roots of our dysfunction—a society that has forgotten the men who take risks, cut through red tape, and get their hands dirty. The only kind of men prepared to face the dangers that the Left pretends don’t exist. Unlike issues of education or taxes or crime, this problem doesn’t have a zip code solution. We can’t move away from it. We can’t avoid it. We have only one Pentagon. Either we take it back or surrender it altogether.

Combining his own war experiences, tales of outrage, and an incisive look at how the chain of command got so kinked, this book is the key to saving our warriors, restoring military readiness, and winning future wars. The War on Warriors must be won by the good guys, because when the shooting really starts, they’re the only ones who can save us.

This is the battle plan to take back our military:
A Veteran’s Warning: Read Hegseth’s firsthand account of going from combat infantryman in Iraq and Afghanistan to being labeled an ‘extremist’ by the very same Army he served.Woke Military Exposed: Uncover how Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies are intentionally weakening our fighting force from within, prioritizing social experiments over lethality.Failed Leadership: Examine the crisis of accountability in the Pentagon, where careerist generals betray their constitutional oath to appease political ideologues. The War on Men: Learn how the crusade against masculinity and meritocracy is driving away the strong, patriotic men who have always been the backbone of America’s defense.

Reviews

  • Very distasteful

As a military member, this has very little insight into his actual military experience or THE military experience. It’s a book full of blaming other people for his failures. It’s disturbing that the SEC DEF doesn’t believe mothers belong in the military, it’s quoted in the book. Very disappointing.

Excellent perspective on where our military has headed and the solutions on how to get it back. I highly recommend this book!

Sometimes reality is difficult to accept so Pete lays out case-by-case how the DoD, and in particular the Army, have got here. His recommendations for the next POTUS and SecDef are clear and concise. Here’s hope for the future.

If you’ve been wondering why friendships are being tested, why there is unparalleled division in the greatest country on earth, why we’re told that up is down and right is wrong, then give this book a shot. Nothing to loose and possibly a clearer prospective to gain. Semper Fi to all my marine corps mates.. ( sorry you other branches ) just get over it! Read this book.

Just another (debatably) straight white male complaining about inclusivity as if that’s the biggest threat the US military faces. These ideas are fine for a Fox News host, not SecDef. Pete’s just upset he doesn’t have a Ranger tab but hundreds of women do.

Scary but necessary to know the truth that was revealed in this great book. Thank you for taking the time to write it and may God bless you and your family.

Every time I read one of Pete’s books I get more afraid! It makes me want to cash in and move to Aruba! I can’t believe that these “leaders “ ,from my generation , are falling for all this woke nonsense!

As an Army veteran who recently separated for many reasons listed in this book, it is reassuring to know that the issues I witnessed resonate with others. We need pragmatic changes in our military and Hegseth intriquetly breaks down what it will take.
