Juliette has never fought for herself before. But when she’s reunited with the one person who ever cared about her, she finds a strength she never knew she had.

Okay if you want the tea from the other stories in this series here it is. Adam is a jerk and Juliette dosent marry him in the end. Instead she marries Warner whose actual name is Aaron. Juliette has a sister Emmaline who and her parents are the supreme commander of Oceania. Juliette’s real name is Ella! And guess what? Juliette/Ella kills her mom one of the supreme commanders of Oceania. In the later books she turns into Andersons servant. Warner/Aarons mom is basically sick and dies. Oh Emmaline is part amphibian more than part human. The supreme commanders of Oceania are monsters. Juliette/Ella and Warner/Aaron were always destined to be together. Sense every time Anderson wiper both of there minds and put them together to work or something they would fall in love. Aaron is not a sick twisted person he is actually super sweet person who who was abused by his father. Also last part! Adam and James are Aaron’s brothers! So cute! Buh bye preppy’s!🐚💗🍮🌸🍒☀️☀️🌈🌊🍄🍥🍯🍪🧸🍡🍪🛍️🥥🧇🍦

I cannot even express how much I love this series! It’s written so well and I feel like I can really envision the characters and settings. Yes I agree the 1st book isn’t the best and got a little boring at times but OH MY GOSH it gets so so good in the 3rd book! I honestly don’t see how anyone could not love this book!

This book has such an intriguing dystopian concept and the writing was absolutely stunning. Also I love me Juliette and Aaron, and can’t wait for them to get together later on. Can’t wait to read the next book, it was truly amazing.

I’ve seen sooo many people who absolutely adore this book but to me it felt really bland. The only interesting character was Aaron Warner but he doesn’t get as much page-time as i would’ve liked. Adam is extremely boring and Juliette is ok, but she is a bit annoying at times too. Imo, this is much more of a romance book than anything else and the romance just isn’t…good. I do like the idea though but i feel it coul’ve been improved. Ok, in general, but felt disappointed.

So I don’t like this book. The characters are just kinda boring and I don’t know it’s just not giving the feeling I think books should give. And mind you I have just about liked every book I’ve read. All the popular books that people recommend I usually thoroughly enjoy but not this one. The insta love between Adam and Juliette is just kind of icky. And the fact that I feel like the author had so many opportunities to give us some plot twist. But it gave nothing in the first half of the book. The only reason that this got 2 starts instead of 1 is, when I was reading, I did want to keep reading. BUT I struggled to pick it back up. There was nothing pulling me back to read this. I stopped halfway through. And apparently people say “it gets better in the second book” or after the second book or whatever. No thank you. It should be good now. I shouldn’t have to purchase 2 books for it to start getting good. And it’s not even about the purchasing, it’s more about that I shouldn’t have to suffer through a boring and predictable story. So yeah. Take this as you will. I enjoyed ACOTAR, red queen, the hunger games, and a lot of romcoms, but the feels just weren’t in this one.

Don’t waste your money or time. The writing is good for the first few chapters and then gets progressively more sloppy. The only good thing was how realistically she portrayed the effects of abuse. The characters fall flat, and the plot feels rushed. Writing feels amateur, I read this twice and really wanted to like not but no. Maybe good if you’re 10-13. Read shadow and bone or acotar or cruel prince instead.

it has potential to become more developed but it didn’t have much in the first book
